Welcome to the Angel Centre Badminton Club
The Angel Centre Badminton Club is a thriving and friendly club for players with a broad range of abilities. Our ethos is to have fun playing badminton and maybe even get a bit fitter in the process!
Whether you are coming back to badminton after a break from the sport; interested in playing with new people and improving your skills or looking for competitive play in the local Tunbridge Wells Badminton League, you are sure to receive a warm welcome at the Angel Centre Badminton Club.
We play at: The Angel Centre, Angel Lane, Tonbridge, Kent, TN9 1SF
Club Night: Sundays from 19:30-22:00
Match Night: Fridays from 20:00-22:00
Affiliated with both Badminton England and Kent Badminton, we field many teams that compete in the Tunbridge Wells league and the Edenbridge Friendly league. Men’s Doubles, Ladies’ Doubles, Mixed Doubles and Masters, for those aged over 50, are catered for and we take part in a number of Cup competitions as well.
Guest fees for a Sunday club session are £7, payable on the night and visitors can take part in up to 6 sessions before having to commit to joining as a full member.
During the summer (over a period of 15 weeks from the beginning of June through to mid September), we run a summer club, same time, same night, which is open to visitors at £7 per session. During the Winter (end September to end May), we run our competitive season.
We use feather shuttlecocks.

If you have found our site but have not played competitively for some time and do not feel confident enough to join us then No Strings pay and play session at the Angel Centre on Monday evenings might be a better starting point for you for a few weeks to get your eye back in before coming along to our Club Night. The session runs from 19:00-22:00 and full details can be obtained from the Angel Centre directly:
